Unequal Opportunity is a type of discrimination prevailing among women, in which they received limited access and are underrepresented in the field of education and employment due to the patristic social norms set by the society.

Women are viewed as something less compared to men. According to United Nations Women, around 740 million women are working in an informal economy, in which their care and domestic work remain unpaid. Also, the majority of women healthcare workers are underrepresented in health sector leadership, especially their COVID-19 response, despite the fact that they make up 70% of the health and social care workforce. Furthermore, the digital gender divide also occurs among girls and women, especially in the new normal mode of learning, in which they are believed to be least likely to have access to technology because of the limited knowledge that they have compared to men as they say. This problem has become worse and agitating existing gender inequality.
